The official Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming list has been updated for 2024.
Congratulations to the 35 new members: 17 women and 18 men; 12 Americans, 8 Aussies, 3 Turks, 2 Brits, 2 French, and one each from Argentina, Brazil, Ireland, South Africa, and the first-ever from Bulgaria (Petar Stoychev), Colombia (Juan Gabriel Acosta), and Taiwan (Wen-Erh Hsu).
Petar Stoychev (BUL) and Andy Donaldson (GBR) achieved the top two fastest cumulative times in history (22:08 and 23:04, respectively). Hats off to Marcia Cleveland for holding on to that record since 2005!
Maya Merhige (USA) tied for the 3rd-youngest-ever to complete the challenge.
Lars Durban (USA) became the 3rd-oldest Triple Crowner (66.7), just behind his brother Eric.
Well swum, all!
