Kellie Latimer of Franklin, Mass., completed an unprecedented double-length crossing of Long Lake, Maine yesterday – Harrison to Naples and returning to Harrison. 22 miles in 11 hours, 50 minutes (unofficial time), according to observers John Gale and Susan Knight.
